COMMUNITY GRANT PROGRAM
The Rotary Club of San Juan Bautista established a Community Grant Program in 2010 and to date has given over $100,000 to local organizations.
Applications are accepted and considered twice a year:
Community Grant Minimum Criteria: To receive a Community Grant from the Rotary Club of San Juan Bautista, the applicant must meet ALL of the following criteria:

- 1st Funding Period: July 1st - October 31st (Deadline for applications: September 15th)
- 2nd Funding Period: November 1st - April 30th (Deadline for applications: April 15th)
Community Grant Minimum Criteria: To receive a Community Grant from the Rotary Club of San Juan Bautista, the applicant must meet ALL of the following criteria:
Criteria for Funding:
- Charitable – Grants must be used for a charitable purpose by an organization that is clearly philanthropic in nature. The organization is not required to be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The funding of a grant is not made to individuals, for staffing of a project, and/or for activities that are promoting specific religious or political viewpoints.
- Local – Grants must be used within the Aromas and San Juan Bautista communities as defined by the boundaries of the Aromas-San Juan Unified School District.
- Community Benefit - The Rotary Club must see a specific community benefit or end result of project activities. (No personnel, general operating or maintenance costs will be funded).
- Recognition for the Rotary Club of San Juan Bautista - The applicant will agree to publicize or acknowledge the contribution in a way that promotes community awareness of the Rotary Club of San Juan Bautista.
- In addition to the minimum criteria for Community Grants, the Rotary Club of San Juan Bautista has identified the following focus areas for funding:
- Youth
- Education
- Community Benefit
