New school in the Philippines

The Rotary Club of San Juan Bautista unites with other Rotary District 5170 Area 8 clubs (Almaden Valley, Gilroy, Gilroy Sunrise, Hollister and Morgan Hill) to support the most pressing international challenges. 

"We focus our efforts in six areas:  Promoting peace, preventing diseases, providing access to clean water and sanitation, enhancing maternal and child health, improving basic education and literacy, and helping communities develop."  (rotary.org)

The Area 8 Clubs have sponsored international projects in the Philippines, Ghana, Bulgaria, Nigeria, and Mexico, building water and sanitation systems, constructing schools, donating computers and other educational materials, donating dental health materials, and/or donating emergency vehicles and equipment.
